Description
Photograph of man and boy in early small steam stern wheel ferry on the Colorado River, Yuma, Arizona, ca.1898. The man sits at the center of the small, wooden ferry while the boy stands at left. A low, jagged cliff hangs in the left foreground with a tree that hangs over the milky water. The water continues into the background where mountains line the far bank. (From negative of Mrs. M.C. Post.)
