Description
Photographic group portrait of the students of the Los Angeles Dow School, 1894(?). Three rows of school children face the camera, with the children in the first two rows seated in front of the standing children in the third row. An older woman, likely a teacher, stands to the right of the group. The children are posed in front of the window of a clapboard building, likely the school. The Dow School was located at the corner of Normandie Avenue and West Vernon Avenue.
