Description
Photograph of portrait of group of masons near a brick wall in a room, ca.1930. To the right, a large group of eight visible masons behind a small wall of bricks pose for the camera. At center, two additional masons are seen sitting on the small mound of bricks. One mason stares at the camera with his arms folded in his lap, while the other man stares off to the left holding a trowel in his hand. In the background, two more masons are visible standing to the left of a rectangular support beam. Each of these men also hold a trowel in their right hands. Most of the men can be seen wearing overalls over their clothing, and many of them wear small caps. A low wall of bricks is visible forming a partial perimeter around the group of masons. In the foreground to the left, a glob of clay on a square platform lies adjacent to a small stack of bricks. In the background, dirty overalls and other pieces of clothing hang from a beam. A stool and numerous pairs of dirty shoes can be seen below the line of clothing.
