Description
Photograph of a birdseye view of Los Angeles, looking northeast over downtown, showing the junction of the Harbor and Santa Monica freeways, ca.1970 (1955?). The looping junction of the Harbor and Santa Monica freeways sits at the left foreground of this birdseye view, with commercial buildings all around it. One freeway enters the frame from the lower left side, while the other enters from the lower right. Downtown is pictured at center, while hills are visible in the background. A low cloud or strip of fog crosses the image horizontally, just in front of the hills.
