Description
Photograph of a view of a car and people on an unidentified road in Topanga Canyon, ca.1915. The dirt road is at center and curves behind a steep rocky cliff at right. An early-model automobile is parked on the side of the road, facing away from the viewer. A group of six people is standing on the left side of the road and looking towards the viewer. They are standing near a wooden fence. Beyond the fence, the land drops off into the deep canyon. Across the divide is the opposite canyon wall, which is mostly covered in dense brush except for several large rocky outcroppings.
