Description
Photograph of the exterior of the Hotel Julian in Long Beach, ca.1905. The hotel is on the left side of the image and is a large two story structure with wooden siding. Its second floor juts out over the first floor to serve as a covering for the front porch. There is a balcony in the middle of the building on the front side. There is a smaller house to the right of the hotel; it too has a covered porch, wooden siding and two stories. There are several palm trees in front of this house, and flowering plants, perhaps roses, have grown up the front side of the house.
