Description
Photograph of the pepper tree-lined Foothill street on Lucky Baldwin's ranch, ca.1910. The closely-spaced trees line both sides of the paved road, and in some spots, their braches touch across the road. Behind both rows of trees are fences--a three rail one on the left side and a two rail one on the right side. There is a broad white line to mark the division between the two lanes in the middle of the road. There is a water spigot on the left side of the road, and sticking up from the ground across the road from it, two thick posts are tied together.
