Description
Photograph of an exterior view of Pio Pico's adobe, Whittier, ca.1900. A dilapidated, long, two-story adobe is pictured at center, its broad side out. The spackle has crumbled off the brick in several places, particularly the corners. A balcony extends from the roof at the narrow left side. A depression is visible in the foreground, boards on which have been mostly obscured by overgrowth. A utility pole is visible to the right, with a tree visible to the left.
