Description
Photograph of a drawing published by Glover, depicting an aerial view of Los Angeles, [s.d.]. The city is depicted moving back over hilly terrain, with Bellvue Avenue and Temple Street situated to the right side of the image, while Castellar Street can be seen running perpendicular to the far left. Homes are shown spanning the city, and few buildings actually appear to be industrial. The center of the city appears to be just right of center, close to the background of the image. It is there that the majority of the larger, more idiosyncratic buildings can be seen. What appears to be cultivated farm land is pictured in the distance. The image was published by Glover in 1876.
