Description
Photograph of Luther Burbank's experimental grounds in Sebastopol, Sonoma County, ca.1900. Horizontal rows of what appear to be crinums or amaryllises are visible at bottom. A few of the plants are flowering, while others are simply stems and leaves. A cluster of bushes is visible beyond the orchids, while other flowering plants are visible in the background. Bushes are visible on an upwards-sloping hill in the right background, while a building stands behind foliage in the left background.
