Description
Photograph of men standing near tables in the interior of an unidentified factory, ca.1920. At center two men can be seen standing on either side of an elongated table. One of the men wears dirty overalls and a small cap. His head is turned towards the camera as he presses a small instrument in his hand on the surface of the table below. The other man wears a coat and a brimmed hat, he leans over th edge of the table and presses his fingesrs in the surace below. The surface of the table is divided into sections, and each section is composed of several ridges. To the left of the men and in the background, severl more tables can be seen, but the contents differ in each one. For example, the sections of the table to the left of the men appears to be filled with a liquid of some type. In the background, three additional men can be seen standing near these tables. To the far left, piles of rags and large sacks are barely visible. In the extreme background, a group of automobiles are visible.
