Description
Photograph of women fishing, shown from a patio, at Rainbow Angling Club, Azusa, ca.1930. In the foreground, an open-air patio is visible; on it, to the left, men are standing and seem to be conversing around one of the pilars, which sustains the ceiling, while a woman is sitting on a bench with a dog laying on the floor next to her. To the right, a man is standing by the second pilar and a woman on a bench is visible in front of him. The patio exposes a small lagoon and in its center a woman can be seen fishing with a stringer on some kind of dock. A second dock is noticeable futher in the back and another woman appears to be fishing on it. To her left, a small waterfall is observable. The lagoon is surrounded by trees and vegetation. A hillside and mountains are viewable in the backdrop. Compares to: CHS-42707. Image shows a close-up to one of the woman fishing at the same location of this photograph.
