Description
Photograph of pepper tree lane at the Hollywood Bowl, [s.d.]. A dirt road can be seen from the center foreground towards a road that runs perpendicular to it towards the background. A fence can be seen on the far side of the road that runs left to right. A few trees line the road, as well as a wooden fence near the right foreground. A small bridge with handrails can be seen leading from the road to the left. A building is partially visible at left, while what appears to be a field can be seen in the background.

California Historical Society Collection, 1860-1960
Description
The California Historical Society Collection is incomparable for the documentary picture it provides of the growth of Southern California, particularly the development of the Los Angeles region, between 1860 and 1960. The collection contains more than 25,000 photographs. The full archive was placed on long-term deposit at USC in 1990 and includes the Title Insurance and Trust Company Collection, also known as TICOR, and the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce Collection.
