Description
Photograph of a man on a horse on a narrow dirt road with tall mustard plants growing on either side ca.1902. The man is pictured from a distance at center, the narrow road stretching into the foreground. The tall mustard plants stand to either side. These plants are the result of the practice of Franciscan fathers scattering seed as they walked from mission to mission to mark their trail.
