Photograph of N and O Streets grade separation over Santa Fe Railroad tracks, October 1936. In the foreground at right, muddy ground marked with tire tracks can be seen. A line of utility poles extends into the background at center. To the left, a set of metal railroad tracks can also be seen extending into the far background. In the extreme background, a large bridge can be seen extending over the tracks. Large cylindrical columns can be seen supporting the bridge. At left, a large metallic structure is visible.

California Historical Society Collection, 1860-1960
Description
The California Historical Society Collection is incomparable for the documentary picture it provides of the growth of Southern California, particularly the development of the Los Angeles region, between 1860 and 1960. The collection contains more than 25,000 photographs. The full archive was placed on long-term deposit at USC in 1990 and includes the Title Insurance and Trust Company Collection, also known as TICOR, and the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce Collection.
