Description
Photograph of the exterior of the Pico House hotel in Los Angeles, ca.1870. The large, three-story rectangular building has many open archways on its lower level that reveal a covered walkway. The windows of the second and third stories are arched as well. In the foreground, a horse-drawn streetcar is stopped in in the middle of the unpaved road, and several other carriages are parked in front of the Pico House.
