From this view, the lightly-colored sail makes a perfect right triangle. In the background, a group of eleven similar sailboats can be seen moving through the water. In the extreme background, the waves hitting against the beach are visible. To the right, the wooden pier is shown extending from the beach into the ocean. Beyond the beach, the city of Long Beach is seen stretching to the horizon.
