Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the Warner Brothers Studio building, 1920-1929. At center, the rectangular, three-story Studio building is pictured with the Warner Brothers logo on its side. Below the logo, a line of parked automobiles can be seen. To the left, a sign over the entrance awning reads "Employees". The edge of a mountain can be seen in the distance above the building. Currently (as of October 2017), this is the studios' "Stage 1" building.

Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce Collection 1890-1960
Description
The more than 3,600 unique photographs of this collection document the Chamber's promotional efforts during the city's early years. In addition to stock photographs, there are pictures of the elaborate booths and displays that the Chamber prepared for use at state fairs and international trade shows. The photographic collection contains images showing the growth of important municipal enterprises, such as ground transportation systems, aviation, and shipping. In addition there are about 1,000 lantern slides in this collection -- not yet fully digitized.
