Description
Lafayette Park (formerly Sunset Park) looking southeast, Los Angeles, ca.1900-1910. A pond is visible in the foreground, while a path lined with rocks follows the near edge of the pond. A small outgrowth of shrubs and foliage are on the far side of the pond. Beyond the pond, the park is mostly grassy with an occasional tree or other plant. Dwellings are visible beyond the park, most of which are two-stories tall or more.
