Photograph of a long view of a Santa Fe Railroad yard in San Bernardino, ca.1910. Long strips of metal with wheels at their ends lie across the foreground with rotating devices behind them. A man stands beneath an American flag displayed at the top of a small, brick building at center. A larger brick building stands on the left with tall, arched doorways. A locomotive can be seen in the distance while another is rolling stock. Compares to CHS-33365, another view of same location.

Title California Historical Society Collection, 1860-1960

Description The California Historical Society Collection is incomparable for the documentary picture it provides of the growth of Southern California, particularly the development of the Los Angeles region, between 1860 and 1960. The collection contains more than 25,000 photographs. The full archive was placed on long-term deposit at USC in 1990 and includes the Title Insurance and Trust Company Collection, also known as TICOR, and the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce Collection.
