Description
Photograph of three women with picnic lunches(?) and cameras coming up a hillside trail in the Cahuenga pass, 1900-1909. All three women are visible wearing long skirts, blouses, and hats. The woman at left is smiling and looking straight ahead, while she holds box-shaped objects in her right hand. The two other women to the right of the first are somewhat facing towards each other and also hold objects, possibly lunches. They are standing on a small patch of land devoid of bushes, while bushes and weeds can be seen on the downwards sloping hill behind them and the hillside in the background. A path runs from left to right across the base of the hill. Photoprint reads: "Donated by Doris D. Hall, daughter of J. Wright".
