Description
Photograph of a group portrait of members of the Valley Hunt Club of Pasadena posing with dogs, ca.1888. Around thirty members, both men and women, are lined up in several lines across the image. All of the people are dressed in formal clothes, with the men wearing jackets and bowlers and the women wearing long dresses and hats. Six hounds and one small dog are also pictured. Some of the club members are seated on a blanket at the center of the group, but most are standing. There is a row of tall bushes behind the club, and in the distance at right is a tall wooden building.
