Description
Photograph of sand dunes at Devil's Playground in the Mojave desert near San Bernardino, 1930. The expanse of large windswept dunes have a rippled surface and are almost completely desolate. A small group of short desert shrubs is tucked into a small valley at right, and there are other plants scattered across the sand. A caption that reads "Devils Play Ground - Mojave Desert" is written at the bottom of the image.
