Description
Photograph of farmland and the Los Angeles River looking north from Elysian Park toward Mount Washington, 1895-1915. Agricultural plots create a patchwork landscape throughout, while a river can be seen cutting through the farmland across center. There is a slight bend in the river at right, and several homes can be seen beyond the river. Mountains are visible in the background.
