Description
Photograph of stevedores unloading pallets from a cargo ship in Los Angeles Harbor, [s.d.]. The large ship can be seen at left, moored very close to a docky. Cranes on the ship are unloading pallets filled with burlap sacks. The bridge of the ship can be seen at left, below a large smokestack. At right, a warehouse is visible, with several large doors. A tractor can be seen in the foreground at center, as it tows several carts loaded with cargo from the ship. Two men can be seen at center helping to guide the placement of the pallets.
