Description
Photograph of Washington Street looking west from Maple Avenue, June, 1896. Railcar tracks are embedded in the unpaved road, running from right to left. The street running perpendicular to this is without rail tracks and is lined by a row of houses to the left. Hore-drawn carriages drive along in the distance where St. Vincent's Church on Grand Avenue can be seen. A bicycle has been leaned against a telephone pole in the foreground.
