Description
Photograph of Boot Hill Cemetery in Tombstone, Arizona, ca.1935. A rugged, brush-covered hill is visible in the foreground at center. In the background three iron crosses are visible that were constructed from gaslamp posts from San Francisco and erected in 1929. The posts bear the date "1862". At center, a grave is pictured bearing the name "M.L. Peet 1851-1888". Of the several hundred graves, this is the only one marked with a name.
