Description
Photograph of a panoramic view of Hollywood looking northeast from the Roosevelt Hotel, 1929. The stage house for the Chinise Theatre stands in the center foreground, terminating in a rectangular structure with eight metal chimney stacks aligned in two rows. Further back, an apartment or office building of approximately five stories stands in the midst of two-story condominium residences. A radio tower can be seen to the right of it. The terrain is hilly and covered with trees, while mountains can be seen in the background.
