Description
Photograph of the exterior of the ruins of the Delano adobe in Bouquet Canyon, ca.1930. All that remains standing of the home is the majority of the thick perimeter wall, which is composed of adobe bricks. Large sections are missing from the front and back right walls, and the tops of the wall have been worn down by the elements over the years, giving a rounded appearance. There is grass all around the building, and in this grass there are several larger plants, including a tree with no leaves at the right side of the picture, two trees behind the house, a small plant directly in front of the house, and a big bush on the left side of the picture. The crest of a hill can be seen in the background.
