Description
Photograph of earthquake damage in Inglewood, showing damage to roof of grammar school, June 1920. At center, a collapsed roof can be seen. Several wooden planks and brick have fallen into the small room below. Along the exterior, sections of stone and brick are missing near the three windows on the side of the building. A sloped roof is visible above the line of windows. In the extreme background at left, a large wall can be seen. Two doorways and a shelf are visible in the interior of the collapsed room. Bottom of image reads: "Earthquake June 21 -20. Roof of Grammar School. Inglewood Calif".
