Description
Photograph of a view of a nighttime movie premier of "Hell's Angels" at Grauman's Chinese Theater, ca.1929. The theater can be seen at center with a large crowd visible on either side of the walkway that runs down center from the road to the theater. Two palm trees are visible in front of the theater, while banners can be seen on the building. Spotlights illuminate the building. A vertical sign reading "Hells" can be seen on the building at left, while "Angels" can be seen on the portion of the building at right. Automobiles and buses can be seen on Hollywood Boulevard in front of the theater, while the silhouettes of three men can be seen in the left foreground.
