Description
Photograph of a birdseye view of Olive Street looking south from Fifth Street, Los Angels, ca.1906. Wheel tracks are visible in the unpaved Olive Street. In the foreground to the left, an eight-story building is outlined by scaffolding with debris below. To the left, what appear to be several different church spires are spaced at regular intervals above residence-style buildings. A patch of trees is visible further in to the left, flanked by utility poles. Highrises sporting several indefinite signs are visible in the distance to the left, one reading "Hotel". Compares to: CHS-7029. Photo shows same street, possibly during different time period.
