Description
Photograph of a panoramic view on Olive Street looking southeast from Fifth Street across Pershing Square, ca.1888. The unpaved Olive Street moves diagonally off into the distance from the bottom of the frame by scattered Victorian houses and smaller shack-like buildings. The spire of a church is visible above the trees to the right, while a larger, three-story building that appears to be a boarding- or court-house is visible to the left. Pershing Square is pictured at center, obscured by trees. Compares to: CHS-7030.
