Description
Photographic group portrait of people standing in front of the Pine Avenue Pier in Long Beach, ca.1895. Eight people are posed in a line at center. There are three men and five women, and all are looking directly at the viewer. All of the women are wearing long dresses and large hats, while the men are wearing dark suits and hats. The group is standing on wet sand near the beach. The wooden pier behind them extends from the shore at left into the ocean at right, and several structures are visible at the end.
