Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the front of the Covina Elementary School, ca.1908. The school is a two-story wooden building with a peaked roof. There is a small covered porch at center, the cover of which is supported by four wooden posts. The walls of the building are covered in wooden siding, and the base of the building is made of brick. There is a decorative carving beneath the eaves at center, and a brick chimney is visible at right. There are large rectangular windows on both stories, including five on the top floor and two on the bottom. The school is surrounded by tall trees. A sign over the second story windows at center reads "Public School".
