Description
Photograph of a fashion show at Pasadena's Hotel Vista Del Arroyo near the base of the Arroyo Seco Bridge, 1940-1950. A wooden runway is set up across a pool in the foreground at left, and hundreds of people are sitting under umbrellas watching a model make her way across. The pool area is surrounded by trees. The arched Arroyo Seco Bridge runs across the image in the background. It is a graceful concrete structure with several streetlights on top. A truck can be seen on the bridge.
