Description
Photograph of a panoramic view of Farmers and Merchants National Bank and nearby buildings, corner of Main Street and 4th Street, ca.1923. The two-story corner building has one entrance on each street. Both entrances feature a large arched doorway flanked by a pair of columns. Above the entrance is a wide pediment with fancy ornamental moldings. The building is reminiscent of Greek-revival style architecture. The streets are filled with pedestrian, vehicle and railway car traffic. Legible signs include: "United States Army recruiting service", "Hotel Rosslyn", "Trunks", "drugs", "Hibernian bldg.", "Van Nuys".
