Photograph of exterior of the residence of Professor Thaddeus(?) S.C. Lowe, Orange Grove Avenue, Pasadena, ca.1889-1895. The large three-story house has a five-story turret and wrap-around covered porch on the first floor. The manicured lawn is planted with trees and other plants at pleasing intervals. A low stone retaining wall raises the level of the yard beyond the driveway. In the foreground is a masonry cornerstone(?) tower perhaps ten feet high.
