Description
Photograph of the first pavilion on the Pine Avenue Pier, Long Beach, ca.1890. The pavilion can be seen in the left distance, at the end of the pedestrian-filled pier that stands at center. A collection of horse-drawn carriages parked with their horses can be seen on the sand to the left. Beachgoers and more carriages are visible to the right. A sign on the beach reads "McKinley and Roosevelt", another advertises Tintypes.
