Description
Photograph of a birdseye view of Sunset Boulevard and the Robinson residence looking north from Fort Hill, Los Angeles, ca.1886. A cart drawn by two horses makes its way up a hillside road towards one half of a town full of modest, one-story houses packed closely together. At center, on the pinnacle of the hill, a Victorian-style mansion with both a porch and balcony, sits. Down the right side of the hill, more tightly-packed houses are situated. Mountains can be seen in the distance to the right.
