Description
Photograph of Ward Block on Colorado Boulevard looking west, containing the Grand Hotel and the Pasadena Bank, 1884. A large, three-story building with clapboard veneer at left sports an attached tower with signs that read both "Ward Block." And "Pasadena Bank." Signs on the second story, along either side of the building read "Grand Hotel." Several horse-drawn carriages park or make their way down the boulevard. A man sits on the porch of the Ward Block to the left. Several other buildings can be seen in the background, as well as burgeoning farmland.
