Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the Stuart-Harkness residence in Pasadena, ca.1900. The two-story Mission-revival house can be seen in the background at left. A three-story rectangular tower is visible on the corner of the building at right. The bottom of the house is covered with ivy, while the roof is covered with terra cotta tiles. A balcony can be seen over the covered porch at the center of the building. In the foreground, a large yard full of palm trees is bordered by a low hedge. A driveway can be seen at center, and an unpaved road runs across the image in the foreground. The architect was Roehrig.
