Description
Drawing, by Charles R. Knight, depicting a waterhole scene at the La Brea Tarpit area of southern California. Vegatation includes large California Oaks, low scrubs and grassy field areas. Animals include: large bear-like animals with tail used as support, wild horses, saber-toothed tigers, wolf-like pack of dogs, and camel with a sigle hump.
