Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the Hotel Royal, probably in Ontario, ca.1900. Trees shade the dusty road in the foreground while small palm trees line the sidewalk in front of the hotel at center. The hotel stands two-stories tall with balconies around the perimeter and dark roofs in contrast with the light walls. A second building stands behind the trees down the street on the left. More trees stand next to the hotel on the far right. A jagged, snow-dusted mountain peak stands in the left background.
