Description
Photograph of the Wharf and Pavilion at Venice Beach, with Ship Cafe in background, ca.1913. Only one person is visible on the wharf. He stands beneath the lamp posts at left while the large Pavilion building stands behind him. Two small structures sit along the front edge of the wharf while the Ship Cafe, a restaurant which resembles a ship, sits on supports in the water at right. The rest of the dock area can be seen in front of the hills in the right background.
