Description
Photograph of a streetcar passing by a crowded pier in Venice, ca.1910-1919. The streetcar is in the foreground at left and is headed to the right. A wide walkway intersects perpendicularly with the train tracks, and hundreds of people can be seen walking on the road. A two-story building with archways around its porch can be seen at left, and a two-story brick building is at right. The word "Venice" is suspended by wires between the two buildings. An American flag flies from the building at left.
