Description
Photograph of a view of the Ship Cafe and Venice pier at sunset, ca.1915. The masts of the boat-shaped cafe can be seen at center, while the silhouette of other architecture blends into the mass of the building, obscuring much of its individual shape. In the foreground, waves can be seen lapping at the shore, while out in the distance, the mountains can be seen behind the outlines of other pier structures. Compares to CHS-32516 which shows a similar scene at night.
