Description
Photograph of the exterior of the Hotel Palomares, opened in 1885 by Frank Miller in Pomona, ca.1905. The three story hotel is very large. It has several chimneys and the left front corner is a tower. There is a massive cupola over the main entrance, and a porch wraps its way around the entire building. There is a row of trees, mostly palms, around the perimeter of the grounds. A sign above the entrance reads "Palomares".; Original title read, "Exterior view of the Hotel Palomares, opened in 1837 by Frank Miller in Pomona, ca.1905".
