Description
Photograph of sheep being shown at a Fremont High School Stock Show, [s.d.]. Six boys can be seen crouched in front of their sheep. The boys wear an assortment of jeans rolled up at the bottom, cowboy hats, and jean jackets. A man wearing glasses, a cowboy hat, dress shirt, tie, and slacks can be seen bent over one of the sheep at right. A man wearing a suit can be seen standing at right along with a boy wearing jeans and a jean jacket. Over a dozen boys can be seen leaning against or sitting on top of a wooden fence behind the sheep. A two-story brick building and bleachers can be seen in the background.

California Historical Society Collection, 1860-1960
Description
The California Historical Society Collection is incomparable for the documentary picture it provides of the growth of Southern California, particularly the development of the Los Angeles region, between 1860 and 1960. The collection contains more than 25,000 photographs. The full archive was placed on long-term deposit at USC in 1990 and includes the Title Insurance and Trust Company Collection, also known as TICOR, and the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce Collection.
