Description
Photograph of a view of Main Street and Twelfth Street, showing the area Childs Place, Los Angeles, ca.1900. A vendor tends his cart to the left side of the sidewalk's corner, in front of a parked automobile. To the right, two small groups of men and women navigate the sidewalk and street, holding bags and packages. A lamp post stands at the corner of the sidewalk, lined to either side by utility poles. Trees obscure the Childs Place home in the background. A poster on the surrounding picket fence reads "Times".
